[ I want to express my feelings on the execution of Stanley Tookie Williams, which took place on December 13°. He was pronounced dead at 12:35 am, pacific time. I was devastated when Governor Arnold Schwartzenegger denied clemency for Stanley Williams. Stanley showed the world how a person can rehabilifate themselves. He went from a gang leader to a person who denounced gangs and wrote books for children to keep them from going down the same path that he took. T can truly say Stanley Williams is someone I’m proud of, and a man that was admired by many people all over the world. He was mominatod for Sevaral Nobel Peace Prizes. He showed the world a person can change for the best and take their negatives and turn them into positives, to contribute to help make his community and this world a better place. That’s the meaning of Tedemption and rehabilitation. In our society, it teaches us that a person should be given a second chance id a person truly tries to change their life for the better.
